Woman arrested in Leamington drugs bust

POLICE who raided a house in Leamington have arrested a woman on suspicion of possessing cocaine and cannabis.

Officers and a trained police dog forced their way into the property in Spencer Yard on Friday and detained the 40-year-old woman while they searched the premises.

A quantity of drugs, believed to be cannabis and cocaine, were seized and removed from the property and the woman was arrested, She was to Leamington police station, where she received a formal police caution after admitting possession of cannabis.
