Warwickshire College graduates riding high on graduation day

THE Royal Spa Centre played host to Warwickshire College’s best and brightest last Friday as this year’s crop of talented youngsters celebrated their graduation ceremony.

Nearly 200 graduands donned their gowns and mortar boards to toast their successes with guest of honour and speaker Alice Barnard, CEO of the Peter Jones Foundation, handing out the certificates.

Director of higher education Ann Cotterill was delighted to commend the students on all of their time and effort.

“Graduation Day is always a really exciting time for us here at Warwickshire College,” she said. “It’s a fantastic celebration of the hard work and dedication of our students and the successes that they have had.

“It’s also a celebration of friendship and the relationships that our students have built up over the years – for many it is the last time that our students will be together.

“We wish our students all the best for the future in whatever career they choose. With a qualification from Warwickshire College they will be a real success.”
