School teams to fly to Spain for top class football training

Football mad pupils will fly out to Spain and train with a top youth academy and try their luck against local teams.

Kenilworth School pupils from years 8 and 9 will make the trip to Valencia during the Easter holidays where they will be welcomed as guests of Valencia Football Club.

The boys will all be put through a rigorous training programme led by Valencia FC Youth Academy.

The two teams, who are now practising hard for the big trip, will also get the chance to play two competitive matches against the local opposition.

And players are now looking forward to getting out to make the most of the unique training opportunity.

The boys have new kit for the trip which is sponsored by CSW Technical Services.
