Police helicopter over Wellesbourne was looking for missing person

THE Warwickshire Police helicopter was used in a search for a missing person in Wellesbourne on Sunday.

The helicopter used its searchlight as it flew over the village late on Sunday. Police cars were also seen near the River Dene, according to villagers on the social networking site Twitter.

A Warwickshire Police spokeswoman said the person was subsequently found safe and well.
