A TEAM of Kenilworth ladies have joined hundreds of others to complete a 10k midnight walk to raise awareness and £500 for Acorns charity.
The Acorns Midnight Walk went through Birmingham city centre on Saturday night to raise support for local life limited children and as a reminder that a good night’s sleep is hard to come by when caring for a life-limited child. Many walked in memory of loved ones or to support friends or family and heartfelt messages were left on an “Inspiration Board”.
Acorns is currently caring for nearly 630 children who have life threatening conditions and local supporter Lucy Wilkinson, said the group managed to raise around £500 so far.” To find out more visit www.acorns.org.uk.
