Last chance to have your say on town’s future

THERE are just days left for you to have your say on the future of Kenilworth.

Kenilworth Town Council says it has been “extremely pleased’ with the huge response it has had so far for the town’s action plan.

So much so that it has extended the consultation deadline by a week - so now the closing date is Monday (February 25).

There are many issues that the council wants your opinion on - housing developments, out-of-town shopping and green belt land to name but just a few. More specifically, the future plans include proposals to replace the outdoor swimming pool at Abbey Fields with a sports hall.

Also, the long-awaited plans to relocate the Talisman theatre are also included.

Arguably the most controversial is the idea of bringing back the mere at Kenilworth Castle.

To have your say, fill out the online form on www.kenilworthtowncouncil.co.uk or visit the town’s library for a hard copy.
