High Speed Rail information day to take place in October

A High Speed Rail Coventry and Warwickshire information day will be held at Kenilworth School in Leyes Lane on Saturday October 20 from 10am to 4pm.

The drop-in event for residents and businesses will provide an opportunity to find out all the latest news regarding HS2.

People who attend will be able to ask questions about the route, the Government compensation consultation, issues being raised both within Government and by Government bodies including the Public Accounts Committee, the HS2 Judicial review latest, how HS2 impacts on house prices, environment, road congestion and business and HS2 impact on Coventry’s Friar Gate Development and current train services to London.

On the day there will be a variety of information stands with key national speakers on transport, environment and the HS2 impact on house prices. Local MPs and county, district and town councillors will all be attending, and an invite has been sent to HS2 Ltd to present mitigation plans for Warwickshire.
