A TALENTED young elite gymnast is hoping for help keep hi going with competitions and training so he can achieve his dream of making it to the top.
Philip Harrison is ranked eighth in the UK in his age group for the sport, and even trains alongside Olympic bronze medal winner, Kristian Thomas in Halesowe.
The eight-year-old Priors Field School pupil dedicates 200 hours a week to practice each week and has high hopes to reach the top.
But his mother, Georgie said the sport is becoming unsustainable financially and they are hoping for some sponsorship or help with funding so he can continue.
“The expense is just getting too much and like everyone we are struggling,” she said.
“Philip is so talented and throws his all into his gymnastics so we really just want to find a way to help him carry on with training.”
Anyone interested in helping with sponsorship or funding can contact Georgie, on 01926 513235 or 07532139107.
