Firefighters rescue cat in Southam

A FIRE crew rescued a cat that had become trapped at a home in Southam yesterday (Thursday).

The crew from the Southam station were called to the property in Mayfield Road at around 7pm, where they found the cat trapped in cavity of a wall. They managed to rescue the feline in about 40 minutes.
