Find out about sewer works road closures at Leamington exhibition

SEVERN Trent is reminding residents and businesspeople in Leamington’s Old Town that they can find out how planned sewer works will affect them at a public exhibition today (Friday) and tomorrow.

Staff from the company, along with representatives from NMC Nomenca, which is carrying out the works, are available to talk to people and hand out information leaflets until 6.30pm tonight at Unit 8 of the Court Street arches off Clemens Street. They will be there again tomorrow from 9.30am to 2pm.

The works, which is the third phase of a £22 million project to update the Victorian sewer system in the town, will begin in November and are scheduled to end in July 2014, during which time there will be road closures and diversions around the south of the town.

Another exhibition will be held in April. To find out more, visit www.stwater.co.uk and www.northmid.co.uk/leamington
