Car crash in Castle Lane, Warwick

A MOTORIST escaped with only minor injuries after a car rolled onto its side in an accident in Warwick town centre yesterday (Sunday).

Firefighters used cutting gear and a ladder to release the motorist from the car after the crash in Castle Lane shortly before 7.35pm.

The accident victim, a man in his 20s, was treated at the scene for a cut to his hand by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
