CAKES at Crackley Hall School have helped raised a mouth-watering £550 for charity after pupils got baking to help bring in cash.
Pupils, parents and staff at the school took to the kitchens to bake cakes for a special sale in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support where they were able to raise the record funds.
The event, led by PTA Chair, Becky Underhill, saw a flurry of fabulous home baked cakes enjoyed throughout the school. And to help boost the kitty, pupils paid a donation to ditch their uniforms for a day, helping them reach the impressive total for the important cancer charity.
Head teacher, Robert Duigan said it was a “fabulous and well supported event” to raise the record funds for MacMillan.
