Andrew Davies all set for town festival

RENOWNED town script writer Andrew Davies will take the lead at Kenilworth Festival to talk about his latest ITV hit drama.

The award winning writer and creator of the popular, Mr Selfridge will speak at the Methodist Hall on May 9 as part of the annual festival to give insight into his work and career.

Writing about the fast living department store founder with a mission to make shopping as thrilling as sex, Andrew Davies said he found his perfect subject.  

The writer, who is now in his mid 70s, said he was instantly drawn to the flamboyant and troubled character who was a “wonderfully flawed hero” who liked to live on the edge.
