Air cadets on the way to Kenilworth

Work on the brand new Air Cadets base on Kenilworth School will start next week.

The first steps to get the building in place as a new home for the group are in place. And there will be an official ‘Turning of the Sod’ ceremony at 10am on Friday 15 where town mayor, George Illingworth will ‘turn the first sod’ with a silver spade.

It is hoped the new base will grow the youth group in Kenilworth and strengthen town links with the cadets .
