Police have warned owners of new Mini Coopers to beware of wing mirror thefts after a spate over the past week.
PCSO Craig Ricardo said five thefts have been reported from Kenilworth over the past week and all from new shape Mini models.
He said thieves leave no damage as screws for the parts are external and has urged everyone to take care.
“Everyone who owns a new Mini of this kind should be aware and do all they can to keep their vehicle safe overnight,” he said.
“Where possible keep your car in a driveway, or in a well lit area close to your home.”
Police have also repeated warnings for people to beware after more thefts from cars in the town this month.
Reports of two smashed windscreens were made near Crackley Woods as offenders attempted to gain entry to items inside parked vehicles.
One handbag was stolen.
Do not leave valuables on display in a parked car and always secure vehicles fully.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
