Charity race organisers have celebrated success as they look to next’s summer’s event.
The Two Castles Race is organised by the Rotary Club each year to bring in thousands of pounds for charity
And this June’s ten kilometre run between Kenilworth and Warwick castles raised over £32,000 for Rotary charities, with runners themselves bringing in another £100,000 for individual causes.
Organisers described the success as “excellent news” and congratulated everyone for taking part and making it happen for another year running.
And in hope of topping the amounts, plans for next year’s event are already in place.
The race will be held on Sunday June 8. Visit www.twocastlesrun.org.uk for details and entry dates over the next few months. All funds will go to local good causes.
