Get ready to race as entries open for the ‘toughest 10k yet’ up and down the hills in Abbey Fields this May.
Kenilworth Runners are now taking entries for their annual Mayday 10K (formerly Festival 10K) which will be held at 10am on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5.
Billed as ‘probably the toughest 10K you’ll ever do’ the endurance route takes runners up the field’s hills in three laps of the park.
And even if you’re not quite up to the full distance, runners can enter relay teams with each member completing one lap at just over 3k each.
The day will also include a family fun run for all ages, and closes with the popular schools’ challenge for Years 5 and 6 pupils. Both races are just over one mile long.
