Crimes continued over Christmas in Kenilworth as thieves made off with valuable goods and alcohol during the festive period.
Sometime between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, thieves stole amounts of Victorian wall coping stones from a town street.
The stones, which sit along the top of a wall, were taken from a wall along Coventry Road, just up from Tainters Hill, sometime in the evening or overnight.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with any information about the thefts to come forward and stated that the thieves were “not builders” .
Earlier in the month, sometime during the evening of December 22, offenders broke into buildings along Warwick Road in Stoneleigh.
During the break-in, a “substantial amount” of wine and Champagne was taken from inside the buildings.
Anyone with information relating to either of the two incidents last month can contact police by phoning the non-emergency number 101.
