It’s time to get planting and spruce up your window boxes ready for this summer’s Kenilworth in Bloom competition.

Entries are now open for the summer showdown with categories to suit all - from pubs and businesses to flats and houses.

The event is free to enter and there are still a few weeks left before judging in July.

Categories include large and small front gardens, back gardens, frontages with containers, window boxes and baskets, flats, schools, pubs and clubs, restaurants, guest houses and hotels, shops or public buildings, and residential homes or communal properties.

Kenilworth in Bloom chairman Sue Edwards said: “Anybody can enter or nominate another property in town.

“We always have a lot of really great entries and hope this year is no different.”

All entrants are in to win certificates and trophies after judging takes place.

Entry forms available from Kenilworth Library where they should be returned once complete.
