A Princethorpe College student has earned a scholarship worth thousands of pounds with an international institute.
After a chance glance at the BBP University website, Upper Sixth former Paul Sidaway went up against four other high calibre candidates in applying for prestigious £15,000 funding for the CIMA Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.
The interview required a presentation on a business idea followed by a tough 30-minute question and answer session led by six financial directors from Compass, Interserve, Bloomers Heaven and BPP.
Paul chose to talk about the business aspect of Leeds United FC, a subject he feels passionate about.
He was praised for his mature communication skills.
