Paramedics were called out to treat injured passengers after a bus collision along Abbey Hill on Monday evening.

The incident happened around 6pm when the bus travelling towards Coventry was involved in the accident on June 30.

One resident said she saw the Stagecoach bus driver in the middle of the road with several passengers standing at the kerbside.

One man sustained head injuries and paramedics arrived on scene to administer treatment.

As well as three ambulances, two police cars were at the scene and traffic was held up while patients were treated and the area was cleared.

One resident out at the time called for on-street parking to be “banned on the busy road” to avoid dangers.
