The Central England Rehabilitation Unit, formerly known as the Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital, has a new website, which details information about the unit and gives people the chance to learn more about its specialist teams.

The website also provides details of the facilities, including the outdoor spaces and social areas, as well as information about the unit’s STAR assessment tool, a piece of sensory equipment used to assess patient responsiveness. The hospital specialises in caring for people with acquired brain injuries.

The unit, which was recently expanded and now has 42 beds and improved and new facilities, was accredited as one of the top ten units in the country specialising in neuro-rehabilitation in 2012.

General manager Sue Bleasdale said: “We are thrilled to launch the new website. We hope that the site benefits families in the future who are looking for information on these specialist services.”
