New beginnings for Kenilworth playgroup

Kenilworth’s Spring Playgroup is looking forward to setting up in its brand new home this summer.

The charity group has been open in the town for over 100 years but will begin a new era when it moves into the Sports and Social Club in September.

The playgroup is Warwickshire’s only free care provider for pre-school children as well as offering special needs care and training.

And the move has been hailed as the perfect combination as the club is unused throughout the day and many of its members have children enrolled.

Trustee Jackie Cross said despite still working on finer details, everyone is “really looking forward” to the move.

The nursery will have access to an indoor area with a separate entrance to keep the children away from club activities and allow access to outdoor play space.

Trustees are now working to make the room suitable for Ofsted approval this summer. To help out, get in touch on 864443 or enquiries@springplaygroup.co.uk
