Over 200 cyclists came out to support the fourth annual Mike’s Myton Ride and raise £2,000 for the hospice.
Organised by Mike Vaughan Cycles in High Street, Sunday’s ride set off from The Warwickshire when cyclists chose either a 40 or 80 mile route after handing over donations for Myton Hospice.
And the record-breaking fundraiser was described as a great day with a “very happy and tired bunch of people” making it back to enjoy refreshments by mid-afternoon.
A raffle on the day say riders dig deep to win a video camera, specialised bike computer, and bike equipment.
Mike from the shop said: “We at Mike Vaughan Cycle’s would very much like to thank The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club for allowing us to use their facilities to hold our event and of course a very big thank you to all the riders for turning up in such high numbers and supporting a great day and a great cause.
“You all enabled us to raise our biggest total so far, a brilliant £2,000 with the odd donation still coming in.”
