Kenilworth criminal damage and break-ins

Police are calling for information after £1,000 of damage was caused to leisure centre fencing during a break-in.

Officers are investigating criminal damage at Castle Farm recreation grounds which may have happened at any time over the past two weeks.

Police information states that 14 fence panels were damaged when offenders broke into the grounds in Fishponds Road and that the repairs will cost anywhere up to £1,000.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with any information about the damage.

*Sometime overnight on February 27, thieves drilled through the lock on a white Peugot van to steal a collection of power tools from inside.

The van was parked on Farmer Ward Road when three Makita drills, a Bosch electric drill and Dewalt jigsaw were all taken.

The next night, a Mitsubishi L200 parked in Grounds Farm Lane had the rear window smashed.
