Help keep Kenilworth’s young firefighters running by boosting numbers at the club.

The social club is open to anyone aged between 11 and 18 years old, and teaches basic knowledge of training, and saving lives.

Run by volunteer firefighters every Sunday evening, dwindling numbers and changes in funding now threaten the group, leaving members keen to recruit and help boost their profile.

George Halpin from the team, said: “This is run by volunteer fighters who give up there Sunday evening to improve our knowledge of the service and teach us different aspects of fire fighting.

“We are low on numbers and could really do with some more cadets otherwise it may result in closure.”
