Jetsetting teenagers will travel across the world to celebrate Girl Guiding and learn about friendship in other cultures.
Beth, 14, and Rose, 15, from 10th Kenilworth Guides will visit one of four World Guide Centres (Our Cabana) in Mexico to take part in an international festival and community project with other groups.
And 14-year-old Megan and Katherine from the pack will spend a week in Croatia sharing Guiding activities.
All four were selected from youngsters from across the UK. And they have each spent the past 18 months fundraising to collect up to £2,000 for their trips through bag packs, cake sales and sponsorships.
Beckie Lang, a unit leader, said: “International opportunities are an exciting and adventurous part of guiding which fosters friendship, teamwork and independence. I am sure their experiences will stay with them forever.
“We are very proud of them and excited on their behalf”.
The girls have also been making items to swap with their international Guiding friends ready for the visits.
