Golfers are looking back on a year of club success after bringing in £11,400 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The hospice supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families and was chosen as charity of the year by club captains, Alan Stevens and Carol Simmons (pictured).

Mr Stevens said that the efforts had given a special focus to what has been a great year with so many members and friends donating to the “great cause championed by Acorns”.
