Balsall Common’s Festival is ready to return bigger and better than ever before with a new charity partner on board.
The annual fete - renamed from the big day out - will feature the village’s first ever fun run and join forces with the Lily Mae Foundation.
The charity helps support families that have lost a baby to stillbirth or neonatal death.
The day on September 20 will kick off with 5k and 10k from midday, moving to a food market, fete, games and activities followed by live music with a party in the park.
Chair of the festival committee Craig Burgess said: “The event is by the community for the community and it wouldn’t be possible without our supporters.”
