Kenilworth’s ‘Marathon Man’ has pulled in another £8,000 to get him closer to his £100,000 charity target.

David Phillips has now raised over £78,000 for the Brain and Spine Foundation Charity in a pledge to complete 500 marathons around the world over the next five years.

The town accountant completed his favourite London route last month marking his 436th marathon as part of Team Phillips.

He told the KWN: “I will keep going until I get there, and I dare say that will not be the end of it.”
