An intrepid team of cyclists have taken on a 900-mile challenge on two wheels as they race to get to St Tropez in aid of Myton Hospice.

Andre Davies, Peter Whiting, Simon Lilley and John McKenzie set off from Kenilworth on June 11 to make it all to their final destination along France’s Côte d’Azur.

And they plan on making it to the finish this weekend after cycling up to a gruelling 80 miles each day.

The team has already completed the Lands’ End to John O’Groats route for the charity and have been training on the road and in spin classes to prepare for the longer route.

Sponsored by Guy Salmon, Jaguar Coventry and Mike Vaughan Cycles, fundraising is ongoing at www.mytonhospice.org
