Charity volunteers are making a desperate plea for help after being left with an empty stock room and nothing to bring in funds.
The Headway charity shop on Warwick Road is suffering from an extreme shortage of donations leaving them with nothing to put on the display racks.
Malcolm Boote, manager at the shop, said it was worse than they have ever known and the shortage of people coming through the doors as well as lack of donations was leaving them in real trouble.
“Our back room is completely empty and we have nothing to put out for customers,” he said. “Without new stock we are really struggling and we just hope people can help us get on track.”
The charity raises funds for brain damage in children and adults. Drop off any unwanted items to the shop from Monday to Saturday.
