Bakers have renamed a loaf in a light hearted homage to the Prime Minister.
David Cameron has hit the headlines after revealing he makes his own bread using an Oxford-milled flour.
And as it is the same brand Crustum uses for it’s ‘Cotswold Crunch’ range, he shop has been inundated with calls asking if they bake the PM’s loaves.
Though they have nothing to do with the politician’s baking, Nick Wood who owns the Priory Road bakery has renamed it ‘Cameron Crunch’.
“It’s very funny that a little business like this in Kenilworth has suddenly got so much attention,” he said.
“We think it is great. We have nothing to do with David Cameron’s bread but maybe now the customers will come flocking to have a taste.
“That would be nice, he would be doing a real favour for small businesses then.”
