Dog loving pupils have become the very first to get to grips with guide dogs and their training at the Leamington breeding centre.

A group of eight Year 2 children from St Augustine’s school spent the day at the centre and taking part in tasks to help them understand life without sight. The pilot scheme hopes to get more schools involved with the charity and includes a tour of the centre, chance to view a range of puppies and older dogs as well as to be led blindfolded through a ‘touch tunnel’ using special white sticks.
