Children really got in the swing of story time by dressing up as their favourite characters ahead of World Book Day.

St. Augustine’s School teachers encouraged pupils to create costumes for a day and said they all came up with “excellent ideas”.

Ranging from pirates and witches to Cruella DeVille, classes the discussed what makes a good character for a story.

Teaching staff got involved by disguised themselves as the famous ‘Where’s Wally’ character.
