Big three welcome offering after public vote

Charities have thanked shoppers after being presented with a share of £1,000 from the Yorkshire Building Society foundation following a series of public votes.

JDA Partnership on The Square launched the voting initiative where customers opted to give £500 to Myton Hospice, £300 to Age UK Warwickshire and £200 to The Helen Ley Care Centre.

A JDA spokesman said the three charities were chosen in support of their invaluable services for the community.
