Kenilworth Runner, Elizabeth Kell completed Sunday’s London Marathon in 4 hours 15 during a fundraising effort for Fight for Sight.
Raising over £3,000 for the RNLI and eye charity, she hopes to help four-year-old Matilda Henley who suffers from a rare eye disorder. Beth was “delighted” with the support from Matilda’s family and her own on the day.
“I was moved when Claire, Matilda’s mum told me that her and her husband Julian were coming to support me,” she said.
“And my husband and mum also came to London to support which was brilliant.
“I have had lots of sponsorship and with gift Aid have been able to raise well over £3,000 which is just brilliant.
“It was a very unique experience and one I will never forget.”
