Time to refurbish

English Heritage and councillors have refused proposed development of The Wantage into flats.

The building is looking tired and in need of refurbishment. The chances of a single family wanting to live there are nil.

Are the decision makers going to let the house fall into total disrepair before allowing it to be rescued?

When is common sense going to prevail? Let us move into the 21st century. The traffic problem is a red herring. If keeping the original look is paramount, how did permission to alter the bungalow by Little Virginia so drastically get passed by the planning committee?
