Great to be able to cycle safely

It was great to read the positive letters from Richard Morris, Howard Eastern, Paul Elwell, and Rod Coleman in last week’s KWN concerning the continued development of cycle facilities in Kenilworth.

I understand David Pettifor’s issues, but these can all be properly dealt with as were the concerns expressed when the new Greenway path and bridge were proposed.

Extending this route to the castle would be brilliant. It would be a super sustainable day for kids in Birmingham to be taken to Berkswell by train, cycle safely along the Greenway to Kenilworth, enjoy the Abbey Fields, then the castle, before cycling safely on the National Cycle Network to Warwick to catch a train back home. - Mike Thomas, via email.
