Abbey Fields, St John’s Playing Fields, Ebourne Recreation Ground and Bates Memorial Ground all got a clean.

One of the volunteers Richard Dickson, who went to each park except Abbey Fields, said: “Even with just a handful of volunteers, we managed to fill around 10 bags of litter across the three parks and we completed the job in less than 90 minutes at each park.

“Thanks are due to all the volunteers who turned out to brave the rain and the mud.”
