Kenilworth Guiding groups need more adult volunteers

So many girls are keen on joining the Girlguiding groups in Kenilworth that more adult volunteers are urgently needed.

In order to be able to offer more places to girls in its Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Senior Section groups, the Kenilworth Priory District must recruit more helpers to support the groups, taking on roles as leaders and helpers.

Assistant district commissioner Sarah Pointer said: “Girlguiding is great fun for the adults as well as the girls - and very rewarding, creating amazing opportunities for girls to develop their potential.

“We hope anyone interested in joining the team will check out their local unit or find out more from the Girlguiding UK website.”

Recent activities groups in the Kenilworth district have taken part in include a ‘Sparklers and S’mores’ evening for Bonfire night, a Pudsey Bear-themed dance and a ‘secret agent’-style mission.
