Among those performing with the orchestra is baritone singer Roderick Williams, who has sung as a soloist during the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms.

Warwick School pupil Archie Whitby will also perform as a soloist with the orchestra in the Elgar Cello Concerto, and the premiere of a new work for male voices by Warwick School pupil Sam Young will also feature.

Debbie Liggins, from the Orchestra of the Swan, said: “We’re delighted to have been invited to perform the first professional concert held at Warwick Hall.

“The evening will provide a unique opportunity for the School’s students to engage with professional musicians whilst raising money for the school’s very important bursary appeal.

“It’s also a big coup for the students to perform alongside an international celebrity such as Roderick Williams.”

Leamington law firm Wright Hassall is sponsoring the inaugural concert, which has been arranged to mark the completion of the Warwick Hall and to raise funds for the Warwick School Bursary Appeal.

Nick Abell, chairman at Wright Hassall, said: “The new venue will be a fantastic asset for Warwick School and the local community for many years.”
