A new sensory and play centre has opened in Kenilworth specifically designed for 0-4 year olds to play and have fun.
Jane Hall and Jeanette Priestley opened Little Sunflowers Kenilworth on the Common Lane Industrial Estate on June 2.
They said: “We have five separate rooms, each providing a different experience for a child’s development and play. The five rooms, or ‘zones’ as we’ve called them, include a white sensory zone, a red, white and black zone, an indoor house and garden zone, a curious minds zone and a soft play zone.
“We have sensory playtime sessions running during the week and offer birthday party hire at the weekend, as well as an exclusive session for children with special needs on a Sunday.
“The soft play zone is great fun as children crawl, climb, jump and roll around in the ball pool, whereas the calm and relaxed atmosphere of the white sensory zone provides a sky of stars, light projections and bubbles with tranquil sounds.
“The red, white and black zone encourages curiosity for all children and supports fine motor skills development for babies. The curious minds zone encouraging children to explore and try what they see. And the indoor house and garden zone is perfect for role playing, with a very popular lawn mower.”
Little Sunflowers is having an open day tomorrow (Saturday). For more details visit www.littlesunflowerskenilworth.or call 01926 257500.
