A SPORTING fundraiser is facing the challenge of a lifetime to cycle 370 miles in just five days in memory of his brother who lost his life fighting in Afghanistan.
Chris Bolger was chosen to carry the Olympic Torch along Warwick Road duringthe summer after single handedly raising £5,000 for Help for Heroes.
And he is now getting back in the saddle with his partner, Hannah Rogers to match the impressive funds for the charity with a cycle from Paris to London.
In 2009 Chris’ brother Stephen was killed in action in Afghanistan and the dedicated sportsman said the challenge is was all about giving something back to the charity which does so much good.
“I’m glad to have the opportunity to support them. This is our way of trying to make sure something good comes out of such a tragic event,” he said,
