Appeal for witnesses following racially aggravated assault in Warwick

At approximately 8pm on Saturday 29 October a 16 year-old boy was at the mouth of a tunnel near to the main entrance of Warwick Castle when he was approached by an unknown man.

He man was verbally racially abusive to the victim. A short altercation then took place and the offender headbutted the boy.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s, approximately 5ft 11ins tall and of a medium build.

He was described as having blond hair and blond stubble, and was wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the offence or who may have any information.
