The Mid Warwickshire branch of Cats Protection are looking for homes for up to 80 kittens.
July is usually the most difficult month of the year for the branch and they are now appealing for homes for these kittens.
Branch co-ordinator Chris Osborne said: “We carried out a free neutering campaign in February of this year and neutered around 420 cats in total, however we are still having kittens handed in to us, so the neutering message is not getting around.”
All Cats Protection kittens have been checked by a local vet, wormed, treated for fleas, inoculated, chipped and they come with six weeks free pet insurance and neutering vouchers worth up to £26 per cat.
They have been looked after by a team of fosterers who take them into their homes to socialise them and prepare them for their new owners.
Several of the kittens have come in with their mothers, having been abandoned by their owners and being forced to have their kittens in gardens or under sheds and hedges.
The kittens in the picture would have been born in a garden had the branch not taken the mother in days before she gave birth.
Sophie, Sidney and Susie are just three of the healthy kittens looking for a new home and a better chance in life.
