Country walkers in Kenilworth will benefit from new signage on posts in the town.
A series of new County Council public footpath or bridleway discs have been installed to help identify rights-of-way.

Brian Nicol, chairman of the Kenilworth Footpath Group, said: “They are more robust and durable than the previous ones and the group is using the new signs on painted posts and fences only where replacements are needed. So for a year or two there will be a mixture of old and new.

We are also putting up gates to replace stiles to improve access to the countryside for the less able. We hope that people will go on to our website www.kenilworthfootpaths.org.uk to check which of the round walks in our walks book are now stile free. The site also contains up to date details of path diversions and closures."
