New minister joins Abbey Hill at 'exciting time' for the town

A new minister has been inducted at Abbey Hill United Reformed Church, Kenilworth.
The Rev Elizabeth Caswell formally became the minister at a ceremony at Abbey Hill Church on Saturday, July 5.
She was welcomed by a congregation of more than 130 people including representatives of other churches in the town.
In the ceremony the Rev Caswell was welcomed to Kenilworth by the deputy town mayor, Coun Richard Davies, and on behalf of the churches in the town by the Rev Richard Awre, Vicar of St Nicholas, Fr Kevin Hooper, the Parish Priest at St Francis Roman Catholic Church and Martin Johnson on behalf of the Methodist Church and Churches Together in Kenilworth and Leek Wootton.
The Rev Caswell, who has moved to Kenilworth with her husband Graham, said: “I am delighted to become the minister of a lively and successful church at Abbey Hill. I am also looking forward to playing a full part in the life of the town, especially at a time when there is so much exciting new development coming on stream.”
