Elderly folk who fancy a week away are being invited to Blackpool.
Kenilworth Rotary Club is organising its annual getaway for pensioners in the town and is planning to go for seven days in Blackpool at the end of May.

The cost is £149 for the holiday, which runs from May 21 to May 28.

Single room accommodatio
n is available for an additional £25.

The annual bargain holiday for local residents includes coach travel to Blackpool and individual door to door transport by local Rotarians to the coach and home again on return.

The holidaymakers stay in a small hotel, which offers bed, breakfast and evening meals with menu choices and an evening drink available up to 10.30pm.

There will be bingo on two nights and a night out as well as excursions available at discounted prices.

The holiday is aimed at elderly people, single, widowed, or married couples, who would benefit from an affordable holiday.

Kenilworth resident Mary Baker, who goes every year, said: "I go each year with my sister and we are extremely well looked after. We have a lot of fun, look forward to it every year and the Rotary do a great job."

Anyone interested should contact Howard Burgess on 857835 or write to him at 8, Mercia Ave, Kenilworth, CV8 1EU.
Alternatively they can contact Colin Sallis on 855337.
