A family business dating back 115 years has done its bit for Kenilworth this Christmas.
Louise and Charlie Weetman, who grow and sell Christmas trees at East Chase Farm, Chase Lane, have supplied the town’s two festive trees, of which one has been donated as a gift to the town.

The couple have been selling Christmas trees for more than 20 years and this year were asked to supply the trees at the clock tower and St Johns.

For every tree the Weetmans sell they make a donation to the Warwick based charity, Action Taken Against Cancer, which supplies support and equipment to the Breast Care Unit at Warwick Hospital.

Over the past few years they have donated more than £2,000.

East Chase farm has been in the family for 115 years and Charlie is the fourth generation of Weetmans to run the farm.

But his is the first generation to diversify into Christmas trees.

The Weetmans also run a farm shop selling eggs, potatoes and honey.
